Terms of Service

Welcome to Moncass. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Moncass Technology Private Limited ("Moncass", "we", "us") and govern your use of the Moncass mobile app and website (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of India with a valid Indian mobile number to use Moncass. By using the Service you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. What Moncass does

Moncass is a personal finance app with an AI money coach. It helps you view balances, track spending and receive insights by connecting to your bank accounts through the RBI-regulated Account Aggregator (AA) framework. Moncass is read-only and can never move, transfer or withdraw your money.

3. Your account & security

You are responsible for keeping your device, app PIN and biometric access secure. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or limit accounts that show signs of fraud or misuse.

4. Consent & bank data

You choose which accounts to link and can revoke consent at any time from Consent management. Data is accessed only within the scope, purpose and duration you approve on your Account Aggregator's consent screen, in line with RBI AA guidelines.

5. The AI coach

Moncass's AI coach generates personalised guidance from your own financial data and profile to help you make informed money decisions. Because it is automated, its answers may not always be complete or accurate, so please consider your own circumstances and verify important figures with your bank before acting. You can report any AI response you find incorrect or inappropriate from within the app.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not reverse-engineer, disrupt or misuse the Service.
• Do not use Moncass for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not share your account access with others.

7. Fees

Moncass is free to download and use. If we introduce paid features in future, we will tell you clearly before you are charged.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Moncass is not liable for decisions you make based on insights in the app. Nothing here limits the rights you have under Indian law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in-app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
